To all former members and players

This season the club celebrates its 40th anniversary. As part of the celebrations we are inviting you as a former member/ player to join us over the weekend of August 28th/29th both to share memories and renew friendships and, if the flesh is willing, to take part in the events outlined below:

Friday August 28th:
Saltash Vets XV v Invitation XV. If you feel able to take the field please bring your kit!

Saturday August 29th:

• 10.00am: Clubhouse opens for a display of memorabilia, photos etc. Do bring along your own personal photos and memories to share. Coffee will be served . We plan also to take photos of former captains etc. during this period. 12.00 pm ; a buffet lunch will be available . Please indicate if you will be attending so as to cater for numbers. We hope the Mayor of Saltash will be able to attend.
• 3.00pm: a trial game has been arranged for the senior players against Devonport Services RFC .This will give you a taste of what the strength of the club will be this year and update you on the game today if you have not kept abreast of the developments since you last played. Our coach this year is former captain and player Nick Skinnard. We shall be playing in the Devon/ Cornwall league, having narrowly escaped relegation last season.
• After the game and in the evening we plan a barbecue and music to round off the day.
• We hope you will be able to attend. Please complete the slip below and forward to the address above or to me personally at the contacts below.If not able to join us we would still like to hear from you and have your news and contacts. At the same time we hope you might consider adding to our list of Vice Presidents by making a donation of £25 minimum to the Club on this special occasion. Do please also share this invitation with any other former members etc with whom you might be in contact . The club website will also keep you abreast of the programme.
